Product Description

An Ultra Premium oil-based full gloss, weather resistant, interior/exterior enamel. Australis Enamels have been developed for easy brushing and long life protection on all exterior and interior surfaces. It is scrubbable and wipes clean easily. Resistant to abrasions and hard knocks. Excellent colour retention.

Areas of Use

Doors, window frames, cupboards, weatherboard, and all surfaces where a hard wearing full gloss finish is required.

Method of Application

  • Brush, roller or spray
  • Satisfactory with most equipment
  • For spraying thin up to 100ml per litre with Mineral Turps only
  • Observe the State Spray Painting Regulations
  • Stir well before use using a broad, flat paddle in a scooping motion
  • Do not apply if temperature is below 10C or likely to fall below 10C during drying
  • Do not apply if rain is expected or in extreme hot, dry conditions

Coverage

Approximately 16 square metres per litre. Coverage will vary depending on the profile and porosity of the surface.

Drying (25C and 50% Relative Humidity)

  • Touch dry in 6 to 8 Hours
  • Re-coatable after 16 Hours

Clean Up

Mineral Turpentine.

Surface Preparation

Remove all soft, powdered, blistered, loose or flaking paint. Remove all traces of grease, dirt, oil or smoke using a suitable detergent. Wash with clean water and allow to dry Repair any cracks or surface defects with a good quality filler. Sand smooth and dust off. New or bare surfaces must be primed with the appropriate Australis primer undercoat.

Previously painted surfaces must be sound and have good adhesion. This can be checked by cutting an “X” with a sharp blade, press a piece of clear tape over the “X” as firmly as possible with the ball of the thumb then as quickly as possible, tear off the tape in one movement. If the previous paint comes off it must be removed before repainting.

Note: Mould, fungal infected surfaces and efflorescence must be treated to eliminate the possibility of recurrence.

0.5Ltr, 1 Ltr, 2 Ltr, 4 Ltr, 10 Ltr.

Bases/Colour

White, Deep Base, Ultra Deep Base, and a large range of colours.

Safety

Keep away from sources of ignition. Highly Flammable Solvent Based Paint Product  UN1263.
Ensure good ventilation. Keep out of reach of children.
